Listings are aggregated from publicly available sources including Google Business Profile, business websites, and trade-association registers. We use Anthropic's Claude (Sonnet and Haiku) to help write listing summaries, FAQs, and review excerpts at scale — there are 56 SA businesses in this directory, and writing 5 FAQs by hand for each is impractical. Every AI-generated piece is grounded in real source data: Google reviews, business website content, and verified business information. AI is the drafting tool; the editorial judgments — what to include, how to characterise a business, when to flag problems — are made by us.
